HOW YOU CAN HELP!

There's more than one way to help PROJECT BACKPACK meet each month's goal:

• Donate BACKPACKS or ITEMS to be packed into backpacks (see "Wish List" page on this site)

Donate the gift of your time - help pack backpacks, help with administrative duties, secure corporate and private donations, pick up items

We welcome community service groups as well as individuals needing to fulfill community service requirements.

CLICK ON THE "CALENDAR" page on this website to find available packing dates for the next couple of months. All volunteer work is done at the warehouse location in Bridgeton. Please PHONE the Project Backpack office at (314) 993-3033 to schedule.

• Buy and send PROJECT BACKPACK "Tribute" cards!

They are suitable for any occasion, and the price helps to fill backpacks! The interior lets you name the recipient/honoree and the occasion for the donation, such as "In memory of John Doe" or "In honor of Jane and John's Anniversary" or "In honor of Jane's graduation" -- the possibilities are endless! The interior also has a brief description of PROJECT BACKPACK's purpose, so the recipient will know how the money is being used. Cards come in sets of six for $25.
